Samorost

Samorost was a new gaming experience for me, mostly due to its lack of directions and aesthetic. I appreciated how it in a way conveyed the interconnection of things. It also reminded me of a Rube Goldberg machine. Had it been any longer I think I would've found myself getting frustrated because without having entirely clear objectives to complete in each level, I found myself imagining harder tasks and puzzles. For example, in one of the final levels (shown below) I thought that somehow the puzzle had to do with clicking the flies so the anteater would eat them. Which is impossible to do.

I also appreciated it's graphics and creativity. It's slightly ironic how although the game used images from nature, I felt like it definitely had it's own unique (perhaps slightly 60's reminiscent?) aesthetic and was therefore very original.

The picture you have was one of my favorite levels of the game, though a part of it was weird. The weird part of it was when you try to walk under the ant eater and then the ant eater tries to swallow you. Even though it looked kinda gross, I saw it as a surreal, creative design of the game.
