The possibilities are endless...

As time goes on I find myself having more fun with my group discussing the possible ways in which you can die more than actually discussing the direction of the story line.  Perhaps thinking of funny ways in which you can die in the game is normal, perhaps it is not.  Whatever the case, I've been having a lot of fun doing so.  It would seem that humorous entertainment through hypothetical death, misfortune and/or maiming is an easy thing to accomplish these days...  but I digress.  I'm fairly happy with where my group's game is going.  At first when we were discussing the possibility of a strictly decision based game I was not thrilled, per say.  I was not disappointed, but I was not extatic.  I have, however, started to become more and more excited/anxious at the prospect of what this game is to become.  It entails aspects of games that I love and adore, aspects that I don't think I have seen used together.  Most of them I have seen used on their own, namely dialogue options, however I do not believe I have seen dialogue options (that actually changed the course of the game) used with a point and click style adventure.  Anyway, that's enough rambling for now.  Perhaps I'll think of something else to talk about in the next few hours... days... hopefully not weeks.
