Run Side Story Run

After watching Run Lola Run I was struck by the side stories in the narrative. When Lola bumped into someone and it showed the camera flashes of those people lives became one of the most interesting parts of the movie for me. I found myself watching and waiting for her to change their lives in some meaningful way again. These little stories took on a life of their own with just a few flashes and a minute of screen time. They also did not take away from the main story and did not distract you away from the central theme. Those side stories became the favorite part of the movie for me and I wonder if anyone else felt the same?

The side stories were great. I like how she makes one small change and it changes everything like when she jumps over the dog, the car crash doesn't happen because of it. Just goes to show the little things in life can make a big difference in the future.

We ended up rewinding a couple scenes and replaying in slow motion in order to see all of the snap shots individually. After awhile I noticed the sound of the flash charging and could prepare myself for the sequences.
