John Harrison's Video: Wired III: An interactive environment

The link that Pat posted about the interactive environment was truly inspiring. The class in the video was similar to our class, in which they tell a story through a large, virtual project. They used objects in space, pedals on the floor, and other machines to capture the different stories portrayed in the environment. The idea and purpose of this environment is to get people of all diverse countries to not only tell stories, but to explore and learn from those stories. This is when machines themselves become interactive. As said in the video, machines have helped us in developing our culture and way of life, connecting us through virtual communication and creating an innovation of social exploration.
