Perseus: My Fav Greek Mythology Hero
I was researching different Greek mythology Heroes, and I find that Perseus from influenced me the most. Perseus was the first of the Greek Heroes who defeated various monsters. He was the one who defeated Medusa, and rescued Andromeda, a princess who was a sacrifice to a sea monster (sent by Poseidon) due to punishment.
Also, Perseus reminded me of one of my favorite movies: Clash of the Titans. In this movie, Perseus learns that killing the Kraken is the only way to get back at Hades. To do this, Perseus had to embark on a quest to find the Stygian Witches. When he found the Witches, he questioned them about how to kill the Kraken. But that's not all. Perseus had to undergo a series of challenging battles (like battling Medusa) to get the weapons he needed in killing the Kraken. His willingness of facing these battles is what intrigued me the most about this hero. It's amazing that Perseus was willing to do anything to get his revenge and save the city of Argos as well as Princess Andromeda from sacrifice.
