Spore DS
So I tried installing the Spore Creature Creator but it kept telling me that I was missing a certain .DLL file. However, I have had my share of Spore fun on my DS. Back in high school, every now and then I'd restock on games. By that I mean filling up my R4, which is a cartridge that allows me to download games onto a MicroSD card and play them. It probably sounds fishy for those unfamiliar with it and it kind of is, which is why Nintendo released the DSi so that R4 devices would not work. However, R4i's were created and so Nintendo is still working on preventing this but I digress. I came across Spore as a highly-rated game and gave it a shot. I remember creating some blue, six-legged creature with one eye. I would run around attacking other creatures, stealing their body parts, and customizing them on myself. Sounds sadistic to me, but they're aliens so it's okay. I remember having a "friend" creature that would follow me but I think I killed it. After an hour of running around, making "friends", and optimizing my physique, I got bored and stopped playing. I'm not saying the game itself is a boring game. It's probably a lot more fun with other friends who play, but I never quite got into it. If I wanted to customize my character and make friends and have fun, I'd play Little Big Planet, which has become one of my favorite games.
But since I'm on the topic of video games, Halo Reach comes out in less than an hour! If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out. If anyone plays on XBOX Live, let me know.
