Lullaby
After we got some feedback, our concept for our project has changed. Our idea now is much simpler and clear and believable. Personally, I really did enjoy the fantastical aspect of our original campaign that told a story of a young man with unnatural abilities and the public's involvement in trying to locate him. Yet, in the incredibly short amount of time we have, we decided to alter our original interactive viral campaign. I think that we overthought interactive aspect of the project. He developed several maneuvers to increase interactivity unnecessarily. With the amount of time we have to carefully craft this "show," we needed something that would catch on quickly and strike a nerve. Yesterday, our group was spitballing the idea of involving children and babies in this orchestrated project. The idea of involving a baby in something controversial would spread like wild fire. The ideas of baby tattooing, baby sex changes and chips that would be implanted to track babies. I really like the sex change idea. I mean how many times do you see a father bummed that he got a girl instead of a boy? Which I find this believable because when a hermaphrodite baby is born ( after some research, I believe the proper term is intersexual ) and its gender organs are ambiguous, many parents have to choose one. Mind you our viral campaign will be controversial because the reason for the gender reassignment would be arbitrary ( a mother wanted a girl and got a boy ). This concept would strike a nerve from everywhich direction possible, so I believe it would be the most effective viral scheme.
