Milestones
Here I m again, Week 3 and my ideas seem to be floating, swimmng, jumping around crazy in my head and I'm grasping desperately at building a good foundation for my project. Week by week I realize the obstacles that I face in my game- first and foremost with the fiducials. I have someone that is loaning me a PC so I think those problems may be behind me. Now, what are .pat files and how do i convert them so I can save them onto a flashdrive? I've been reading a Video Game Manual and it says that every game has 5 crucial characters. I have a rough idea of how I want my game board to work, but I'm still working out the kinks on what fiducials should do what. I don't want to get to the problem where the player can't progress because it's too difficult. That would be a joke! So mainly Monday: Write storyboard for the game so that all characters correspond with the objective of the game. Tuesday: I need to iron all fiducials patterns and assign the "obstacles" or "blessings" from "the Gods." Wednesday: Test out fiducial pattern Thursday: finish storytelling aspect of the gameboard and ensure that the tale is cohesive as a whole."card decks" for game player "choices." Friday: have final game board to bring in with at least SOME functioning fiducials! Pray for me and wish me luck! I'm diving in head first into all this techno-boogie.
