John Cage: Short Stories
I really wanted to like these mini-short stories, but I have to admit I have heard one liners that have more depth. I couldn't really find a favorite or one that I really liked. Is the spacing and design supposed to mean anything? I didn't think it really added anything to be honest. I attached #92 below.
A woman
who lived in the
country
was asked
how
cold it had been
the
previous winter.
“Not very cold,”
she replied.
Then she added,
“There were only
three
or four days
when we
had to stay in bed
all day
to keep warm.”
