The song has been played on radio for months before the video was available in Haiti. Thus I went by the lyrics thinking it was about a breakup. From the video I discovered it was more serious than a breakup: it was a final goodbye as the guy got killed.

I think that this video is interactive as the viewer need to reconcile what he/she used to listen with the story now being told by the singer (might be my interpretation because of the way I got access to the info)
