Interactive game board or a fuzzy concept?
As I am leaning towards a game board that will be interactive, I did research about the idea but surprise the concept appear to be fuzzy. Most game companies appear to think that the interactivity can only be implemented by incorporating a digital component brought by a VHS or a DVD. I don't believe so. The interaction with other players can completely change the course of the game, bringing players to really create their own narratives. Moreover even within a game that one can play by oneself, decision making can have "serious" consequences: lose it or win it. For instance, I like to play spider solitaire on a vista run PC because a game is never lost as I can go over and over trying to find the right move (not feasible on XP environment).
I came across an article promoting a serious game for training employees that appear to be interactive. It requires 9 players...with so many players a lot might be happening. ... You can see the presentation of the game if you follow this link.
