interactive ideas in the movies

Okay, I was thinking about the movie coming out on the 7th julie and julia. I was considering how this movie seems to be a distant interactivity. If it hadn't been for the fact that Julia had written a cook book then Julie would not have been able to make the food. In one of the commercials it says "I was drowning and she saved me." This is an idea that just because two people do not directly interact with one another does not mean they there is no interactivity. Due to such possibilities I believe there are still many more ways for us to have interactivity.
