Interactive Music
Music has been used for communication and storytelling for thousands of years, so it makes sense that there are many forms of interactive storytelling that involve music. One such example that I have seen is a game called Audiosurf, where the player "rides" the song that they are listening to. The program is able to determine faster beat songs and what type of song it is in order to provide a "track" that the player is able to race on while collecting blocks that match the beat of the song. This program offers a whole new way to experience music, as the player is using more senses then they normally would, as the game requires one to touch and see the music rather than the conventional just listening to it. This medium is a look into the future of what technology will allow us to do when looking at music and video stories.
