texture collect
Sorry I have not posted in awhile. I just got an internship and have been busy with that. More on that later as I think it is related to what we are covering in this course.
I have identified another design problem. While in Professor Pagano's class I was searching for images to use in collages as well as videos. I had a hard time finding textures of a high quality that are free to use. When I did find places where people had provided them, it was hard to search for them or they were not organized well. For example, if you use flickr to find them, you have to wade through what everyone else has posted - it is not specialized enough.
So my idea is to make a website with tags where people could come and search for various textures. These would be all creative commons licensed. This site would be aimed towards students, artists, and designers.
