Interacting with "art" - Subway Art Gallery Opening
I love the idea of subverting the regular life and making everything a little more playful. Playing with art world trops is something I would like to explore.
Absolutely fantastic! I love the faces and attitudes of people and the great humor/seriousness of the exhibit. It makes you see things in such a different light.
The piece by Charlie Todd (the creator of this piece) that I knew (and love) is the one called Ted's Birthday, where a large group of people throw a birthday party for a random stranger in a bar. At first the stranger is surprised and annoyed, but as more and more people come up to him, give him presents and "relive" past times he gets more and more confused. There is a follow up to that, but I don't remember where I saw it.
