Project update

Before i post my milestones i feel i should first post an update in my projects direction. Originally I had planned to create a horn that when blown into would measure the alcohol content on your breathe and broadcast that message to facebook or twitter. Although I still plan to create this object it will be more so in my spare time as I have decided to use class time to develop a more "practical" skill. As an artist I have always been in need of a personal website, in addition my father is in need of a new website for a line of guitars he plans to bring out this fall. I feel this class focused on interaction design would be an ideal time to finally teach myself web development skills as websites inherently contain some component of interaction and design. Although creating a website is not as exciting or innovative as some of the projects I have done in the past I feel it is an important skill to have and if I do not set it as a class goal i doubt I will gain proficiency in web design.
