STORYBOARD MIDTERM [GRADES POSTED TO PRODUCERS]
I have sent the result of the storyboard proposals to the Producers
If your story is approved you can proceed to the next step of designing what/where the places for interaction will go.
This is often when folks move the story INTO something [Cloud Novel, Unity, Youtube etc.]
I think i stumbled across a term i would like to use called a "WASD moment." An IXD Interactive moment when the person experiencing your media will interact with the story or the interface or ingesting the media in some way.
You can have as many as you want in your story but i would like to see at least two specific Interaction designs plotted out like a visual map of the process step for doing something; Using a controller, pressing keys down, moving a joystick etc..and how and when you use it during the story experience.
***If your story was not approved [your producer will tell you] You need to get another job!
You will be asked to join another team and work on an approved project, you will be an assistant to the role you are now, except for producer who will be assigned by the producer of that team that takes them on as a designer.
conditional approval: your team is on the fence between approval and spiraling into the abyss of re-assignment. A clear healthy re-submission will cement your dedication in the eyes of the Executive Producer.
We will do team re-assignments on monday, so barring any foul weather your attendance is crucial so you can be re-assigned to a new team.
