Rube Goldberg Machine

Ok so here I found something created in Maya that is a video but was made with no animation. It's really interesting to see how movement can be created without using animation and without using characters. We have been working a lot with getting characters and body parts to move but haven't done much with objects yet. I think this is really cool being able to to use physics to move objects in such a natural looking way.

The creator ashduke can explain how he made this much better than I can because I don't really understand myself but this is what he says. "This is an independant project i did in 2010 for a trimester at QANTM collage melbourne. I used NO ANIMATION to create this clip. I built it using only Maya 2011 Dynamics, Ndynamics and Ncloth."
