Make in Rain in 3D

I was thinking about an Animation i watched recently and the rain looked fake so i figured why not look into how to do rain in Maya. walks you through the basics of how to make the effect work and is really a fun tool to play with when you want to add a little flair to a scene. who knows you could fill a cup up with water have a rain cloud follow a character around the possibilities are endless.
