I came across this video while looking for time lapse videos on Vimeo. While you can clearly tell when the video changes from real video to CG, I think it's really impressive that this was made by a graduating student (like me!). This was done in 3DS Max, but just from the week I've spent playing around in Maya, I can't even imagine how much work went into this project!
