Narrative Blog Post - Extra Credit

One movie that has a narrative storyline that I love watching is the Christmas movie Elf. In this movie, there is a 2nd person narrative in which "Papa Elf" speaks directly to the audience saying things like "you're probably here for..." or "...this is where our story begins." By using these terms it includes the audience as a character in the story. 

I think Papa Elf is a reliable narrator even though he appears as a character in the story. But to truly determine whether or not Papa Elf is a reliable or unreliable narrator requires you to determine whether or not you believe in Santa Claus...
