JEFF!


Behold! My latest creation! his name is Jeff. Does anybody really have the desire to be a rigger? I'd offer up these models as practice since I want to animate them but hate rigging.

What is the polygon count on that baby?

looks like its around 83,000, most of my surface detail was collapsed to bump maping

The character is prohibitively heavy. In most of the games you play the most detailed characters run probably 6000 polys. Once in a while 10000 for the meanest boss of all, but that would be very rare.Even the human skeleton in our book (p.100) has only 35,000 polys and it is a very detailed figure. I imagine you used Mudbox again. We'll talk about that tomorrow.
